| The Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commerce and State Administration of Taxation of China released a notice about tax rebate policy of long-term export contracts on 29 January 2007. According to the notice, long-term export contracts with value over RMB 100 million which were signed before 1 July 2007 with contract term longer than one year in fixed prices can enjoy the tax rebate rate set before 1 July 2007. The new arrangement is applicable to the contracts which have been applied to the above organisations before 15 February 2008. Once the contracts are approved, manufacturers should register their export contracts for tax rebate under their local taxation departments. Export contracts applied after 15 February 2008 will not be accepted. |
