| While Guangdong has raised enterprise minimum wage, provinces such as Fujian, Jiangxi, Guangxi and Hainan have also adjusted their minimum wages recently. |
| Effective from 1 August 2007, the Fujian provincial government has implemented the latest minimum wage with five categories: RMB750, RMB700, RMB650, RMB570 and RMB480. Meanwhile, the minimum hourly wage of non-full-time workers for 2006 has been adjusted to RMB7.9, RMB7.2, RMB6.5, RMB 5.5 and RMB4.7. The wages are applicable to every region in the province. |
| Jiangxi enacted the adjusted minimum wage standard, which was increased about 8.7%, since 31 December 2007. The new minimum wages are RMB580, RMB520, RMB480, RMB450 and RMB420. |
| Guangxi province also raised the wages to RMB580, RMB500, RMB450 and RMB400, effective from 15 November 2007. |
| Hainan government raised the minimum wage of every region by RMB50 from 1 December 2007 with three categories: RMB630, RMB530 and RMB480; the minimum hourly wages are RMB5.7, RMB4.8 and RMB4.3. |
