| US and Mexican textile industries to tackle Chinese textiles | ||

Two major US and Mexican textile organisations announced on 30 July that they have agreed to work together to increase the competitiveness of the North American textile industry, as restrictions on shipments from China will be lifted from 1 January, 2009. |
