Tom Tang
re-elected as the HKEA Chairman
|

The Hong Kong
Exporters’ Association (HKEA) is pleased to announce that Mr. Tom
C Y Tang, JP, has been re-elected as the Chairman of the HKEA for
the 2007/2008 term. Mr. Tang has been the HKEA Chairman since
2005/2006 term.
The three Vice-Chairmen are Ms.
Leung Wai Ping, Mr. Ivan Ting and Ms. Helen Lin Sun.
The election was held at the 53rd HKEA’s Annual General
Meeting on 7 September, 2007.
Mr. Tang is pleased to have been once again elected as the Chairman
of the HKEA and duly recognizes the tremendous contributions of the
General Committee as well as the support of the HKEA members. He is
committed to lead the HKEA to safeguard the interests and progress
the business opportunities of its member exporters. In his new term
of appointment, he says, he will help Hong Kong exporters explore
business opportunities in overseas markets and in China, as well as
co-operate with Hong Kong Government, local and overseas trade
organizations to forge closer ties and facilitate business
exchange.
