The Hong Kong Exporters' Association (HKEA) is a non-profit making trade association registered
under the Hong Kong Companies Ordinance in May 1955 as a company limited by guarantee. It is
the intention of the Association that the income and property of the Association, howsoever derived,
shall be applied solely towards the promotion of the objectives of the Association for which it is
formed.
Mission
To closely liaise with local and overseas trade associations to safeguard interests of Hong Kong's
export trade and expand business opportunities for exporters.
Objectives
- To serve, protect and promote Hong Kong's export and re-export trade in all markets.
- To expose unfair practices encountered by Hong Kong exporters and re-exporters and seek redress thereto.
- To act as a representative body to voice trade grievances hindering the development of Hong Kong's international trade.
- To be a source of trade information and trade regulations/practices.
- To uphold and enhance Hong Kong's international trade status and commercial image.
- To lobby for and support measures that would increase Hong Kong's competitive advantage and productivity.
- To advocate free and fair trade.
